About the Therapist

Tara Ellen, LMT

I am a nationally certified and VA-state licensed massage therapist specializing in The John F. Barnes' Myofascial Release Approach® and Craniosacral Therapy. My office is located in the heart of Falls Church, VA. I started my private practice in April 2011 and it's been an amazing experience bringing relaxation and relief to our community.

I treat adults 18 years and older. If you are pregnant please do not book a session. Seek out a therapist with extensive prenatal training.

My goal is to provide clients with a holistic approach towards a state of well-being. All my clients are treated with utmost respect and compassion. I enjoy supporting my clients with effective treatment, as well as educating them about the importance of releasing tissue restrictions, as well as the awareness about how stress and trauma effects our health. As we incorporate valuable aspects of healing such as self care, therapeutic work, healthy personal connections, rest, consistent exercise & movement, good nutrition, and spiritual fulfillment, we essentially raise our energetic vibrations and find a sense of clarity, balance and well being. I believe that all healing starts with recognizing the inherent health within. I would like to be part of your healthcare network and it is my ultimate reward to support you.

Your care, modesty and comfort are my highest priorities. I want you to begin to feel relaxed as soon as you step through the door. My space is equipped with an air purifier for the cleanest environment possible and an Amethyst Infrared Biomat to aid in detoxification and ease sore muscles.
